Failure of the Opposition is Not Sufficient For Victory

Some time earlier, we noted that “More Than Just Temperatures Falling: How the Left and Global Government Dreams Will Collapse.“  The totalitarian Left’s powergrabs will be more difficult to make without their rationale of “saving the planet from greedy capitalists” – but that’s no guarantee of their failure.  Power is power for it’s own sake.  They will succeed unless they are stopped.

Stopping the totalitarian Left will take many efforts: reclaiming our children’s education, returning ourselves to prayer and to honor, selling the virtues of Liberty, exposing the moral fraud that is “redistibutive justice“, rejecting the cynicism of unilateral weakness, bringing the Chicago politbureau to face charges for CCX and near countless smaller political corruption rackets, joining a local gun club and so much more.

It will take courage to tell adolescents of the Left that “no, you can’t…” ‘Tis no longer enough merely to mind our own businesses. Like Cincinnatus, we are reluctantly putting down the plowshare – for a while. The field will still be there, ready to plow, and the vines ready to tend when we return.
