For months now, Breitbart News has made Steve Capus the poster boy for the ongoing scandals and instances of editorial fraud that occurred under his watch as NBC News president.
One can have doubts about guilt or honor as NBC’s prime motivation, given that they’ve been at this game for decades. Perhaps reducing the NBC News department from an asset to a liability has something to do with NBC’s action. It’s one thing to have a bias; it’s another to expose the brand to ridicule and unnecessary expense.
Is NBC learning that ‘failure of discipline’ has significant consequences? We’ll see.

The only problem is that the last generation of “journalists” has been trained to the same standard. It’ll take a lot more than the removal of one man, even if he is (was) the news president.
Still, this is a good start, and I’ll take it.
Amen. I’m hoping there are a lot more Zimmermans out there willing to make lying and cheating an expensive habit for NBC (and the rest of those clowns.)
