Translating Obamics

2010/05/28

President Barack Hussein Obama, mmmmm mmmmm mmmmm, May 27 2010

“Those who think that we were either slow in our responses or lacked urgency don’t know the facts. This has been our highest priority since this crisis occurred. We understood from day one the potential enormiteh of this crisis and acted accordingly.”

That is to say,

“I’ll never let a crisis go to waste.”

NRO’s Yuval Levin offers a sane perspective.

Actually Bob, I rather think the delay was intended to allow the “crisis” to develop into an asset. The Won failed to understand that allowing it to become a crisis – voting present, yet again – would blow-back at him.

Reagan was Teflon. Willy was Slick. This dude is just crude and oily.
