Back From a Vacation…

Ruth and Sheva had a great time.

. . .

The future... is going to be just fine.

. . .

Like their mom, they’re merciless art critics.  Cleveland has some stunning works on display.  There was a Turner there – “Burning of the Houses of Parliament” (ca 1835?) I must return to see once more.  A Velasquez, too, I must research: It struck me as a portrait of Phillip that I had seen at the Prado.  The connection tells a story worthy of it’s own blogpost.

More later.  Cheers!

    Hi Steven,
Posted the Calabazaz Mystery. When I saw the portrait, from about 20 yards through a doorway, I thought it was of Philip.
