Larry Elder: WikiLeaks Vindicates President George W. Bush on “Missing” WMDs

2010/12/12

The unintended consequences of corruption… From Larry Elder at The Examiner:

WikiLeaks’ de facto declassification of privileged material makes it case closed: Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction — and intended to restart his program once the heat was off.

What? Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame were flat-out liars?  Who knew?

Sarcasm aside, how soon before the Left turns on Assange for inadvertently vindicating George W. Bush?

OMGosh Ran, I heard Bush in his interview with Sean Hannity lament that the weapons were not found. This must be the yellowcake that was shipped to Canada???

Wilson and Plame should be behind bars – should have been there years ago.

I would love to see exactly what those cables said. Great post!

    Hey Maggie,
Yellowcake ore must be processed into elemental Uranium. It’s an expensive job. Most U is just metal, though some of it is comprised of unstable isotopes. Those unstable “radioactive” isotopes require expensive refinement techniques, such as the centrifugal concentrators presently being screwed-up in Iran. Heh. Yellowcake isn’t “safe” but it is hardly weapons-grade or radiologically useful as raw ore.

Bush disappoints me still today. Sadly, so much of the rabid criticism of him by the Left is valid. “A pox on both their houses.”
