Gay, Soldier and Admitted Liar… But Will the Media Ask to Whom and When?
“In 2010 when I was deployed to Iraq I had to lie about who I was because I’m a gay soldier and I didn’t want to lose my job…”
– Stephen Hill, GOP presidential debate, Orlando, Florida
There has been much ballyhoo over the boos delivered from two or three attendees at the recent GOP presidential debate in Orlando, Florida. The President too joined in the dissimulation at America’s expense.
I’ve had it with the trashing of America by our Leftist fifth column, by our President and by his fellatious Media unwilling to ask simple, honest questions.
For starters, it is obvious that the boos were aimed at the lame “gotcha” question, not the soldier himself. However, since Stephen Hill had the chutzpah to mention lies, let’s do what the lame-stream Media won’t do and start there:
To whom exactly did Stephen Hill tell lies when he was deployed?
In claiming that he “had to lie about who” he is, he is impugning the character of his fellow soldiers and officers. An honest reporter would have to ask Mr. Hill to substantiate his claim, i.e. Was Mr. Hill in fact ever queried by a superior officer concerning his sexual orientation? If so, who and when?
Under DADT his sexual orientation was a private issue, not to be querried, extolled or considered in the least. If indeed, Stephen Hill was forced to lie about being homosexual, does he not have grounds to bring charges against his inquisitors under DADT? If so, did he ever make those charges?
That Mr. Hill is an admitted liar is one fact. What we don’t know with any certainty is: To whom and when did he lie? We do know with some certainty that the Media will never ask.
