As Plan ‘A’ (AGW) Fails… What’s Next?

2010/05/24

Paul Chesser at The American Spectator has done yeoman’s work reporting the botched mess that has become the neoreligion of ‘anthropogenic global warming‘.  His reports at AmSpec have been vital to informing the public.

The IPCC and its supporters can’t sell the AGW fraud openly, much less their precious “carbon credits.”  Even re-branding the “threat” as “climate change” isn’t selling.  Where does the international Left go when Plan ‘A’ starts to unravel?

To Plan ‘B’ of course…  Biodiversity.

As we noted earlier:

Now there’s a new shift emerging… as “climate change” is getting kicked in the ass by new solar data…  it’s Global Environmental Decline! A NEW crisis!  Shiny new goal posts, too.

HAH!  Caught you rolling your eyes.  We have a game here at the dinner table:  Come up with the hokeyest, stupidest new threat the Left could glom onto.  Some of them are pretty funny.  What’s scary, however, is that some are just plausible enough to be taken seriously.  Bloomberg tagged us with the restaurant salt threat – that menace to civilization itself.  It’s almost as much fun as cheese shop!

Will the fun never cease?

UPDATE: Pajamas Media’s Ed Lasky reports: We Know About Soros — But Who Is Maurice Strong?  Between the lines, it becomes obvious that the Gaiaistas and the Biofreaks both have huges sums and tremendous power at stake.  Neither will depart soon nor easily.

The next big issue to be debated (ha)
Better get those thermal undies out… they will blame frostbite next!

Dr. Don Easterbrook, Professor of Geology at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. Has a very different point of view.

“You thought last winter was bad? Wait until this winter,”

“Expect global cooling for the next 2-3 decades that will be far more damaging than global warming would have been,” says Easterbrook. “Twice as many people are killed by extreme cold than by extreme heat.”

      Thanks ME…
We learned in first year geology that the Sun plays a huge, active role in climate. The theory back in the 80’s was that solar output fluctuated, and that received solar energy and solar wind played havoc with the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide is a trace gas, after all.
